Travel down Old Fannin Road in Flowood at least once during the Christmas season to see the awesome display at Winner Circle Park.

The park's Grand Lighting ceremony took place Thursday, December 11, and special activities are planned for this coming Friday and Saturday night, December 19th & 20th, as well as Monday the 22nd and Tuesday the 23rd.

Santa will make his appearance evenings from December 18-23. While train rides are available for $1.00, all other events are free.

Stroll through the park and visit Santa, view the nativity scene, Pat Starnes, Metro Jackson MS Realtorand be in awe of the thousands of lights and decorations at Winner Circle Park. Trees pictured above were supplied by local businesses.

Winner Circle Park is located north of Dogwood Mall. Turn north from Lakeland Drive onto Old Fannin. The park is beside Flynt Memorial Library at Flowood Drive.

Festivities are planned between 5:30-8:30 p.m. throughout the season.

What  a really clever idea to have different companies sponsor a tree.  I bet it is really beautiful at night.

Jack & Tammy: Thank you both for your comments. I tried to take a couple of photos at night but the quality didn't turn out as well as I would have liked. This intersection is extremely crowded during rush hour traffic; that's why I went by around 3:30 to take pictures. I know, I should have tried again. ~Pat
